Hey Carpool Crew!
Who was Rahab, and why would God choose her to play such an important role in one of the Bible's most incredible stories?
In Episode 1 of our five-part series on Rahab the Brave Believer, we travel to the ancient city of Jericho, one of the oldest fortified cities in the world. As Joshua prepares the Israelites to enter the Promised Land, two spies are sent into the city and find themselves at the home of an unexpected woman named Rahab.
At first glance, Rahab seems like the last person anyone would expect God to use. She lived on the edge of society, carried a difficult reputation, and wasn't part of God's chosen people. Yet God saw something deeper.
Join Pastor Justin as we discover how God often chooses people the world overlooks and why Rahab's story is still encouraging kids and families thousands of years later.
Kids will learn:
• Who Rahab was and where she lived • Why Jericho was such an important city • Why the Israelite spies came to Rahab's house • How God sees people differently than the world does • Why no one is invisible to God
Key Scriptures: Joshua 2:1-3 1 Samuel 16:7
Discussion Questions:
Has there ever been a time you felt overlooked?
What would change about your day tomorrow if you really believed God sees you right where you are?
Rahab's story begins with a powerful reminder: God sees people others ignore. While the world often focuses on popularity, success, appearance, or status, God looks at the heart. The same God who saw Rahab in Jericho sees you today.
This episode helps kids understand that they are known, valued, and loved by God, regardless of their mistakes, circumstances, or what others think about them.

Hey Carpool Crew!Welcome back to Carpooling with Heroes of the Bible! In today’s episode, we continue the story of Samuel and explore a turning point that changed Israel forever.
As Samuel grows older, the people of Israel make a big request—they want a king. But this wasn’t just about leadership… it revealed something deeper going on in their hearts.
In this episode, kids will learn:
How Samuel became a trusted prophet across Israel
What life was like before Israel had kings
What judges were and how they led the nation
Why Samuel’s sons created a problem for the people
What it really meant when Israel asked for a king
Why wanting to be “like everyone else” can lead us in the wrong direction
Even after God warned them, the people still chose their own way—and that decision would shape the future of Israel.
📖 Scripture Focus: 1 Samuel 8 (CSB)
Sometimes what we want isn’t what’s best.God knows what we truly need—even when we don’t.
🚗💨 Thanks for riding along on Carpooling with Heroes of the Bible.Next episode, we’ll meet Saul—the man who looked exactly like the king people wanted… but whose story teaches us that appearances can be deceiving.
And remember: God isn’t trying to hold you back—He’s trying to lead you well.

Hey Carpool Crew!
Welcome to Episode 1 of our Carpooling with Heroes of the Bible series exploring the story Jesus told about The Unforgiving Servant in Matthew 18.
In this five-episode series, we will hear the same story from five different perspectives so we can better understand what Jesus was teaching His disciples about forgiveness.
In today’s episode, we hear the story from the servant who was forgiven a massive debt by the king.
Jesus describes a servant who owed an enormous amount of money, far more than he could ever repay. When the servant begged for mercy, something unexpected happened. The king felt compassion and forgave the entire debt.

Hey Carpool Crew!
Welcome to Episode 2 in our Carpooling with Heroes of the Bible series exploring the story Jesus told about The Unforgiving Servant.
In this five-episode series, we hear the same story from different perspectives so we can better understand what Jesus was teaching about forgiveness.
In Episode 1, we heard from the servant who was forgiven a massive debt by the king.
In today’s episode, we hear from the fellow servant. He owed a much smaller amount of money and hoped for patience so he could pay it back.
But something surprising happened. The servant who had just been forgiven a huge debt refused to forgive him.
This part of the story helps us understand something important. Forgiveness matters, and refusing to forgive hurts more than one person.
Jesus told this story so we could see how powerful mercy really is and why forgiveness helps relationships heal instead of breaking them.

Hey Carpool Crew! 👋Welcome to the very first episode of Carpooling with Heroes of the Bible!
Today, we’re kicking off our deep dive into the life of Peter — before he ever walked on water or became one of the leaders of the early church. We’ll travel back to the Sea of Galilee to see how an ordinary fisherman, tired from a long night of no catches, met Jesus and had his entire life turned upside down.
You’ll learn what fishing was really like in Peter’s world, how Jewish boys trained to become rabbis, and why Peter’s “yes” to Jesus was so much bigger than a single moment — it was a total life change.
Because following Jesus doesn’t start with being perfect. It starts with saying yes.
